To live an actualized life two essential qualities are required, courage and persistence. The rest can be developed in modern analytic psychotherapy.
People who come to see me usually have an identified problem such as marriage or relationship disconnection, panic or anxiety disorders, depression, conflicts with family members, or dealing with a medical, business, or environmental defeat. We can generally make headway on the presenting stressor within a brief time period.

For many people that is when the real therapy begins. Mainly through group supplemented by individual and/or couples or family therapy, they begin to make profound character changes. Individuals who had been controlled their whole lives by fear, withdrawal, anger, self consciousness, self doubt, or self hate come to experience an opening up and greater receptivity to their own potential. Doors that they had believed to be forever closed to them open and are entered with manageable care.

The new ways of behaving eventually morph from conscious behavioral change to natural and the client evolves into a happier, more appealing, more independent, exciting human being.
